    Reserved Stand-By

"Emergency Travel Infusion, Inc." will suggest many ideas. However, in the end it is up to the different party to execute then in the way that fits them. There are number of details that are open for the parties on adjustments.

In the coming year "Emergency Travel Infusion, Inc." will post more ideas and suggested methods to execute them.

The basic idea is that the participating groups will purchase air tickets and hotel rooms out of the available vacancy at special discounts. Those bookings will technically be reserved with specific dates.

However, if tourism picks up, the airlines and the hotels will have the right to purchase those tickets back and sell them to the regular tourists at market price. We refer to this system as Reserved Stand-By". This is a combination of purchasing reserved ticket but with the option of the hotels and airlines to purchase them back.

"Emergency Travel Infusion, Inc." suggests a minimum 2-3 days warning time before the airlines and the hotels could purchase them back. After all, we cannot just cancel them at the last minute.

There is another important aspect to this system. You can cancel the flight/hotel only if there is 2-3 days notice before they fly to their destination. However, once they fly, their return ticket is reserved and the airlines/hotel cannot purchase the remaining days. This after all makes sense. We must assure them place to stay during their visit and a place on the plane to return home.

For example: a group purchased by October 1st tickets to fly from San Francisco to Hawaii on October 9th and stay there in a certain hotel until October 16th. Those flights and hotel room are reserved. However, if tourism picks up before October 6th, the airline and the hotel could purchase those tickets in order to sell them at market value to regular tourists.

However, if tourism picks up by October 8th, then those groups have priority to go on the trip and their entire vacation is considered reserved. After all, we cannot imagine that they will fly to Hawaii and then on October 11th will be asked to leave their hotel and be informed that the airline purchased their return ticket. Those principles are basic common sense.
