There are many aspects to good leadership. "Emergency Travel Infusion, Inc." will take the challenge to set high standards regarding them all. Remind you that the organization does not have executive powers and therefore, will have to assume leadership skills in order to get the public do their best in overcoming the crises.
Leadership begins with the desire to succeed in accomplishing our goals. We believe that the root of the problem for the recession after September 11th was the lack of desire to prevent it from happening. Yes, it is true that many politicians and dignitaries made "Anti-recession" statements. However, those are just talk. It was hardly followed by burning desire to really solve the problem.
Another aspect of leadership is the ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities to others in order that all part of the mission are covered by qualified people. We believe that in the political culture of today, everybody - politicians and media agencies - are interested in focusing on the top issue. Thousands and even millions of people are all focused on the same tusk. As a result, there are secondary issues that hardly been taken care of.
"Emergency Travel Infusion, Inc." will execute leadership by delegating responsibilities to head of companies, schools, clubs, etc. The organization will offer them solutions, set standards for success and monitor the progress. However, the execution itself will be performed by thousands of groups that each will take upon themselves a small part.
The organization's success will not be measured but what it does but by what it inspires others to do.
Personal note by the founder: "It is in my opinion due to my experience with the different politicians, government agencies and the Travel Bureau of Hawaii after September 11th and Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina that they have showed almost no leadership and their performance was a disgrace.
When good leadership allows few people to perform many tasks, it appears that thousands of them all tried to all concentrate on the same 1-2 ideas - and even that with little success."
Leadership is also about accurately determining the needs, monitoring the results and making the needed adjustments. There are too many agencies that their main focus is on their marketing budget and campaign and not on the results. Worse, they tend to spin the results that they do achieve as success - without comparing them to the real needs.
"Emergency Travel Infusion, Inc." will be committed to the ENTIRE process and will set high standards throughout it operation - including preparing for crises a head of time, setting ambitious - but realistic - goals and standards and attracting the best people to take command at all fields and levels.
